    it is soft and all one piece. I was not able to pull the rock out for the picture lastnight. I will get it done tonight.

    If you get some short polyp extension, maybe purple (actually purplish brown) Goniapora.

    Does the tenticles come out at night only? B/C I have one also(not the same color thou) that I found on the beach and is brown-ish during the day and clear looking tenticles with a greenish tint t it at night. Kind 0f looks like a Sun Coral. Luna

    At night there are what I can best describe as baby hairs all over the coral. To give you a referance of there size they are near "microscopic".

    I think Geekdafied is the winner. i looked at pictures to copare his response and it is dead on. Thanks to everyone for all there help. I am the type of person who wants to know what is groing in my tank:freak3:
