    Is this a Serpent Star or a Bristel Star? Good or bad? I have it in a cup right now and I think I have a few in my LR. Its only about 1/2" from end to end.

    Those are called micro stars. Basically smaller versions of the brittle stars. They are good to have in your tank as they are detrivores and come out at night or when you feed.

    I have tons in my tank, they all hang out in zoa colonies,the rockworks..they are fun to watch.

    yep mini brittle stars i have lots in my tank to, dont see them to often when you feed there legs come out of the rock or when you turn on your light in the morning you might see 1 or 2 floating around.
