I have a few tiny "things" is all I can think to call them. They are small, about this tall -> |
They are round tube shaped things with small tentacles around the tip. They are clear until about halfway up and then have a cream colored top half. The top is flat and has a darker stripe across it.
They are located on only one small rock and have not spread as far as I can tell. They do not move and I thought they were tube worms at first, but now they look more like a tiny thin anemone.
I did my best to make a crude pic of it.

    I'm a regular Michelangelo for sure. :p
Thats what I was afraid of. With out an ID Im not sure how to handle them or how to take them out. I dont want to remove the rock because one of my baby serpent stars lives in it and there are tons of feather dusters and sponges and a couples tunicates on it.

I havent tried. They look like they may be attached to the rock the same way a polyp or anemone would be. But Im not sure as I cant see the food of any of them.
