So first of no picture, I know hard to id with out it I am sorry but here is hoping I explain it well enough.
Last night after I turned out the lights in my tank I noticed these little worm looking things expanding out of holes in the rocks. They moved a little like a earthworm and at the end of the tube it looked like a hole or mouth that was trying to eat copepods. They were mostly clear and a little white. And as soon as I turned on the light they retreated into the rocks again.
I never saw the end of them all I saw was a tube coming out of the rocks extending all over the rocks.

Thank you any information leading to the arrest of this unknown creature is greatly appreciated.

Not a bristle worm that is for sure. They kind of look like an aliens finger, if that makes any sense.

Sounds like a peanut worm.. they're tan, whitish, black marble colored. The retract when lights hit them. if that's what they are they're good hitchhikers! The have a scraper for a mouth, it looks kind of jagged, and they scpe rocks with it.
