    I'm trying to avoid using flatworm exit. I don't want to deal with the potential release of toxins. Since I'm taking my rocks out and siphoning out all of the water in a couple months, I might as well dip the rocks in RO water and siphon out the remaining worms then.

    Natural population self-regulation, perhaps?

    I wouldn't complain :p. However, still keep an eye out for them - I'd be surprised if they don't turn up again sometime in the near future, especially if you haven't taken any steps to erradicate them.

    But who knows? Maybe you got lucky :D
