    Hey all,

As mentioned in a post a few weeks ago, I am undergoing a battle with AEFW. Today when i treated all of my acros I noticed this on one of the tips of my millis. I gently popped it off with a knife and took a photo. Anyone know what it is? I am happy to say one thing that I didn't see on my acros today was AEFW! This makes four weeks of treatment.

Did it look like a snail on the bottom? If it's not a solitary Fungia species, it's probably one of 4 or 5 different families of snails that are called "limpets" or "cap shells" by aquarists. They attach and then feed on whatever passes by them, mostly. Generally harmless.

    Cheers,

    Don

It's very cool looking! Sounds like most likely harmless which is a good thing. I've never seen anything like that.

That's crazy. It looks like a baby plate.
