Id wierd tentacles? lol

Mine have never grabbed food, hence the question. They sway in the water column when I feed.... but never actively grabbed anything.

 

a pellet fell by a crack where... the speciman in question ... hangs out, and i saw a tentacle reach out n grab the food..Reallly small.. like really small... maybe a few cm's long...

 

I'll see if I can find that video again. I got lots of pics of mine, but I don't think I ever got any of them grabbing food. They always did it tho. I used to keep bettas at my office, and when they finally all died I brought my tiny betta pellets home. They loved those LOL.

Until you see the body it's pretty much impossible to know if it's a micro-brittlestar or a spaghetti worm. However, it doesn't matter much. They do the same thing...they blindly scavenge for food. Both are good critters to have.
