LOL... I had to be quick since I had other things going on with kids - so I attacked it like I would a pizza... ;D I just started yanking rocks & coral out of my tank. Then in a similar fashion returned everything.

I wish you were closer too.. I would have had you come over and help! :) I wish I had your weather though.... we got an inch of snow over night - not ready for winter yet.

Im looking at snow here too this week :-( Its ok because we are leaving in a week and a half for the Carri bean,

Not to jinx you, but alot of people have issues with a six-line wrasse and you may get some trap experience lol.

Error checking be damned! Firefox auto check did that lol. Alot of six lines get kinda aggressive from what ive read, but I've never kept one. I think due to thier popularity its a small amount of aggressive fish

Okay, I have heard about sixlines getting aggressive towards other fish.... This six-line came from a tank with other wrasses and a small goby - so hopefully I won't have problems... but you never know I guess. So far so good. So long as he doesn't pick on any of my coral!

    UPDATE

Got a GREAT deal on some coral!!! A guy was taking down his tank and sold a lot to me. I will get some new photos up soon - tank is looking really good now.

The only downer was that I managed to poison myself. Was really excited when I got home to move stuff in my tank around to make space for my new additions. I did not put gloves on even though I have several pairs. I have gone gloveless before and developed a bad habit of sticking my hands in my tank without thinking twice about it.

I have several Zoanthid/paly colonies all of which I moved several times bare handed - I even recall the slime feeling on my hands and thinking I should be wearing gloves. I spent about an hour in my tank messing around and I suddenly realized that I was getting light headed, my eyes were feeling really strange and I was having trouble seeing... A bad head ache followed. It all came on quite quickly. It took me about 15 minutes to figure out what was going on... I quickly took a shower washing my hands really well.... I never had trouble breathing or any other more severe symptoms but the ones I did have were not fun.

My wife convinced me to call poison control which I did. Fortunately my symptoms improved and I am feeling better a day later but still have a head ache. I admit I am a little embarrassed by this but thought Id remind those of you like me who know better and those of you who didn't know about risks involved with handling zoanthids or other potentially dangerous coral.

You better believe I will be wearing gloves from now on.

I've been hearing alot of accounts lately of people getting palytoxin poisoning. I guess I better stop fraging polyps with my fingernails eh?

You can bet I won't touch my corals especially my zoas again without gloves on. I still feel crappy - 24 hours later.. Its not a fun feeling.

Whoa. Glad that you are better. I guess you live and learn. Or rather learn again.
