ideas for a skimmer on a 180 reef tank

I am putting together a 180 gallon reef tank. i purchased the tank used and am currently setting it up. It came with a terminator II skimmer. When i was testing the skimmer for leaks and to make sure it was working the pump took a dump. No big deal just hit the net and find one. That is where the concern started. From what i have read this is not a very good skimmer and seems to break alot. I found the skimmer online with a pump for $50 brand new and the reviews were not good. Soooooo
i ask this question...What would be a good skimmer for a 180 reef tank with 40 gallon sump/refugium? any and all ideas are welcome. I want to try and stay under $600 if possible but would prefer less the $400.
