I would get a background, I prefer solid black but you can really do whatever you wish to hide the wall and wires behind it.

Also, MORE ROCK!! How many gallons is your tank and how many lbs of rock do you have looks like very little. Bulk Reef supply, Reefcleaners, Marco rocks all great sites for rock. I used Bulk Reef Supply Pukani which I love and was easy to scape with you can see my scape in my build thread http://www.3reef.com/forums/show-off-your-fish-tanks/46-gallon-bowfront-build-131381.html .

Really the best you can do to scape is provide as many caves and crevices as you can while keeping as much of the rock as possible from touching the substrate and making sure flow can go around the rocks so you dont have deadspots. Remember to keep room for your hand and scrapers between the rock and the glass!! Other than that it is whatever look you prefer just google it for write ups and ideas and also pictures to see what kind of design you like. A lot of it will depend on the rock you get so you cant copy a scape exactly but at least youll know what kind of build your working towards. Play with it out of the tank, MUCH EASIER, and when you think you have it down transfer it in and dont be afraid to use some drills, pvc pipes, putty, whatever you need!

    300 Liters , 70 gallons

Currently there's just under 20kg of rock in there , most of which is stacked.

you definitely need more rock in there for it to turn into a good looking aquascape, the black in the back of the tank is a great idea, i did this with mine and it gives the tank a nice depth to the tank.

I have the vinyl to do it but its moving the tank away from the wall :/

I'm adding for dead rock slowly , releasing alot of phosphates

    I shall update!
