Just bought a spectrapure 90gpd RO/DI system. works great, my algae problem is finally going away, but I want to figure out something so I can still use the rejected water coming out of the system. That way I'm not wasting 3-4gallons for every one gallon of water I use for the fish tank. Anybody with experience on this or any ideas?

Flow restrictor helps. Save up your water if you live in a drought sensitive area for watering your grass or plants.

Probably the best use is landscape irrigation. Filling a washing machine can be problematic since they only hold so much and even if you are only going to make 5 gallons of RO/DI you end up with 20 gallons of brine and could overflow and damage a washer.
If you do use it for landscape make sure you provide an air gap or physical seperation between the RO/DI unit and the storage or application point so you do not have a cross connection between potable and nonpotable water.
