So I finally have time this afternoon to start building my LED lighting kit that I ordered from RapidLED a few weeks ago. But does anyone have any ideas on how to mount the fixture to my fish tank? I would prefer not to drill holes on the wall or ceiling of my apartment so that I can hang it. Has anyone fabricated legs or something so that I can let it sit on the tank? Its a 16" heat sink, for a 24" long 20gallon high. Thanks! =]

edit* i was thinking of maybe attaching an arm or something to my stand? Kind of like how they hang the AI Sol nano fixtures over the little pico tanks. I have this stand http://www.petco.com/product/101401/Aquatic-Fundamentals-1020-Gallon-Aquarium-Stand-with-Shelf.aspx any suggestions?

Thanks! Thats awesome. I've seen the hangers like that but I never though about attaching them to the wall(duh!). LOL. I've seen them attached to the aquarium stand but because my stand doesnt have walls to attach anything to, I didn't know how I was going to do it.

There are several ways to fix the conduit pipe on the back of your stand i believe. Youd get enough strength if you could fix two points or so on the back of the stand. Use a few of these.

We are renting our place too, but the owner keeps some extra paint of the wall and the ceiling, so I can fix it when I have to. I just like the clean look of the thin wire.
