    Hi to all

New here, looks like a great place to learn new ideas in the world of salt. Been keeping a 70G semi-reef for about 20 years and have had great "luck" in keeping it thru 2 ice storms...you name it, more on my tank another time, my question is about a PS..I thinking of getting a AquaC EV-120 ps any thoughts on this unit ????? This tank has hang on back unit seems to work, just want more horse power.

    All help is appreaciated !!:):):)

    THX in advance
    Dick

    Welcome to 3reef!
I have the 180 model and the Remora and have had great luck with them and love them both. IMO, AquaC makes a great product!

Welcome to 3reef, glad to have you aboard.
Aqua C makes a great product. I had a remora on my 55g but I bought my 265g used and it came with a skimmer on it but have been looking at the EV-400 to possibily upgrade too, so I would tell that I don't think your going wrong with a Aqua C on your tank.

    I would recomend a Precision Marine Bullet 2. ;)

I had (still have as a spare) an Aqua C EV-240 and I thought it was great, ... until I tried a Bullet 2.

    HOLY COW !!!

    The difference was incredible !

The performance is night and day from the Aqua C. Don't get me wrong, the EV-240 was no dud, but the PM bullet 2 is more consistent in performance, requires less adjustments and pulls out the most nasty and smelly stuff I have ever seen. My tank is a 120G.

The down side is that it requires more muscle on the pump. I use a Pan world 150ps with my bullet.
