thinking about making a fuge... can you put a skimmer in one?

 

A fugde does not see much flow and a skimmer need alot so my vote would be no!

 

fuge's and skimmers are intirely 2 diffrent things..
keep each one seprated

 

You shouldnt put a skimmer into a refugium, if anything, it should be placed after the refug.
Actually, a skimmer and a refug is about the same thing, they both take out organics.

 

if not in the fuge, can i move the pump from my sump to my fuge to make room for the skimmer?

 

how many gph is your pump? i was told u don't want very much flow in your fuge.

 

Get a bigger sump !!
