    Doesn't sound like any bristle worm I've ever seen. BW have no legs and do not move in the manner and as fast over rock as OP describes. Can't wait to see a pic!

    Pics posted on bottom of first page of thread. Turns out its a scale worm. I located 2. One red and thin (fast one) one orange and fat (slow one) Saw second one when I reassembled the tank this morning. No chance of getting a photo of the second one but link posted below.
