    I agree with all of the sarcasm and comments above.

    However, many years ago my father bought something similar-sounding to combat a build-up of minerals in the water pipes of his house. It looked like a coil of thin electrical wire wrapped around the main water pipe, connected to a box with blinking lights.

    I have degrees in biology and electrical engineering, and I told him that he had wasted his money.

    Yet, a week after he turned on the unit, we were constantly removing the screens on the faucets to remove the crud that had flaked off of the inside of the water pipes. I don't know how it worked, but it did, at least for a while.

    I'm not going to buy an Eco Aqualizer, but until someone (with better investigating ability than the InlandReef people) shows that it's worthless, I'm going to withhold judgement.

    Consumer Reports had an article about using magnets to clean your water and their research showed it was bogus!
