I would have started with a bigger tank first, instead of doing it the way I did. I started small, then got a bigger tank, and then added another tank, then another, then another, and then traded all those in for a large one because I "unoffically" became a fish store. All that money.....hummmm......Oh well I am already starting the cycle again...adding a 28g soon:stupid: for seahorses!

Plus, I would have more importantly found this forum and others like it so I could actually do more research than I did the first time!

Ohhhhh, I would not be so impulsive (as you could probably already figure I am very, very impulsive)::)

My list could go on, and on, and on!

I wish I would have spent the money the first time for the "good stuff", instead of trying to "cheap it out". Would have been cheaper to buy the right stuff the first time, instead of the second time. :(

reinforce my stand cause i got my tank used and it has some water damage on the bottom, and it's starting to worry me when my son plays near it. the stand is custom and is made of mostly 1" thick wood.

I've read that so many times. . . It's been said in many different ways, but they all mean the same thing.

Buy the best and you'll never be disappointed.

If only it were that easy. :)

LOL. The nice thing about that, is that if you're a DIY'er, you can build all kinds of sumps, refugiums, etc with those tanks after they're put out of service.

I would have organized a drilled tank to a sump + refugium
