Great pics Geek. I have the same memories as a child with my parents. We drove everywhere the car could go. You could always take a detour and go down south to Miami;D Just bring enough shorts and sun block.;D Luna

I was talking with my boss today about MACNA, it appears we're going to be an exhibitor there. He also mentioned taking a trip to FL, hes never been there before. Hes paying for everything, so ya never know how far south we'll make it, haha!

Last year we stopped in CT, Southington,CT is where the we stayed. We visited with Coral Reef (Tom) and his family and we all went to the on the 2nd day there. (dont get your hopes up luna, their beach is A LOT different then FL beaches.) Had good time there, had a BBQ at Toms, even stopped their on the way back for a little bit.

Ive talked with him about stopping by again this year. But no definete plans yet.

I think this year, Roger, Annik,Tom and whoever else should get together and do something ;D .

Drove through NYC once, never do it again. Traffic was horrible!!! Took 4hrs to get from one side to the other.

Its my wife's grandfathers cabin, built in 1920. Its almost "roughin it". It had electricity put in it in the 1940s, so its a lil outdated (not to mention a serious fire hazard), haha!

As for fishing, the lake that the cabin sits on is full of small mouth bass, trout, perch, landlocked salmon, pike and supposedly muskie. Ive caught everyone of those species right off the dock except muskie. Ive never seen a muskie on that lake, but according to Fish and Wildlife they are there. My wifes dad (in his early 50's) has never fished before until last summer and he saw how many I was catching right off the dock. I taught him how to fish and looking foward to fishing with him again this year if he makes it.

We put ourselfs just out side of NY the night before and started early to beat the traffic. We were at the Statue of Liberty at 6:00am, traffic was ok but the roads and chuck holes were awful and on a scooter that made them even worse.

You could easily lose your scooter in the potholes I saw there.

I'd be up for it, especially if Roger will be smoking up some BBQ. ;D
