We're actually planning on going there either next year or the year after. Philly and Boston are trips within the trip, need more then a day or two to see those cities.

Im not big on TV, I hate commercials. As soon as I get into a show, its time for a commercial. I mainly watch movies/discovery/history/science channel

The Office is a good show. If you get a Tivo or DVR, then you can record it and watch it anytime and fast forward the commercials. ;D It turns a 1 hour show into a 35 minute show. I value my time, so why should I bother with commercials.
If your time is worth, say $40/hr, at work, and you have to watch an hour of commercials everyday just to see a few shows you like, then those commercials cost you $40 of your time. For $12 a month, I get a cable box with a DVR, and I don't waste my time there.

    Have a great trip B!

That's called "grilling". BBQ involves firing up the smoker :D

I'm not sure if it's been mentioned already but have you ever checked out the historical parts of Rhode Island? Whaling ships and whatnot?
