So after a recent fender bender I folded up one of my expensive rims and didnt want to buy another one (since you can no longer buy them) and I found this place in Syracuse NY called RimDoc that for $100 bent the rim back into round with their special hydraulic press that they had built. It still has some ball peen marks in it from me trying to bend it back initially which they could have made look like new but I didnt really care. So just wanted to pass the word along in case anyone needs this kinda service. It was .384" out of round in one spot and .068" out in another.

    Nice!!

I called them to fix my old VW rims and didn't have luck. I paid around 100.00 and it was still bent. :(

I know they have like 3 major locations, the one up here only charged $15 if they were unable to straighten it. There is also one called rimdr I believe.... I would call them for money back if they didnt fix them. This place really stood by their work. $15 not fixed, $100 fixed.

This guy came to me in a parking lot. I got rid of the Jetta and upgraded to a Mits.

I'm happy to hear your rim is all fixed up. :)

Oh. Hmm they used a very large hydraulic machine theres definitely no way they would have been able to do it in a mobile vehicle. They owner I talked to said they only do that kind of work at the central location, the mobile trucks only do minor touch up stuff. That sucks it didnt work out for you.

Our dealership has used mobile rim repair services for 10+ years. It isn't hard to mount the hydraulic machine in the back of a u haul sized truck. Full repair, not touch up. It is pretty darn impressive what they are able to do! Congrats on getting your rim fixed!

What are the specs of those wheels? They look pretty sweet. What car were they on?

Im not sure of the specifics for the rims they came on the "beater" I bought. They are Blitz BRW 02, 15" aluminums. And they are on a Del Sol.
