Iguana Info?

    anyone know of a smaller land lizard that might be good for beginngers? i would love an iguana but i dont have time yet...:(

    Crested gecko! do a search on google, they are awsome, and very very cool.

    As a former reptile breeder, i would recomend a Bearded Dragon for beginners. It has the most personality of any lizard i have ever owned (and there were lots) and is a good eater as well as very docile and easily tamed. It is also a good start for someone that would eventually want to raise iguanas, as the leafy greens and veggie part of the diet is the same, but they also like crickets and meal worms etc. Just my thoughts on the subject....

    No offense to anybody here they are cool animals in the wild, I have had some but only in my meals, I grew up in central Mexico, and they are abundant in the wild, I know it sound disgusting for some :sick: but they taste excellent, you can cooking in so many different ways that you can imagine :drool: any way that was 15 yrs ago now i only eat chicken. I actualy own a savanah monitor and is about 3' 1/2 :LolLolLol

    I agree as far as the bearded dragons are concerned....get them when they're young, they are so awesome!! ;D

    I agree, we own two bearded dragons and keep them in a large cage with branches they can sun on with the basking lights. they are easy to keep, like to be handled and are docile, just need to keep their nails trimmed. Ours are about 14" long and are really cool
