After seeing you post it a few times now, the curiosity is killing me. Just how is it you're measuring the air draw?

Dwyer RMA air flow meter. The RMB amd C are larger meters and less restrictive. They run about $30-$40. I just borowed mine from a local reefer. It has proved invaluable for this.

Just to add...mines measures in liters per minute.... times 60 for hour. That equates to around 40 SCFH

    Gotcha.

I'm happy to hear the manufacturer is backing thier product and working with you. Hopefully you get this all sorted out.

I was game to try a few things. It bugs me when I can't figure something out. There really isn't much to go wrong. I mean if it is a bad pump, no big deal. But for it to CHANGE, that's wierd. But nothing, so now they are sending a new pump and we will be all done.

Jon is the owner and answers the phone when it rings. Very nice guy and very easy to talk to. I sort of felt good "buying American" and helping our manufacturing base. Feels better now knowing Jon. Great company.

I feel pretty strongly about buying American too, especially now with the economy being what it is.

The only thing in my mind that could affect air draw would be possibly the sump's water level changing. Other than that, an obstruction in the line, but I'm sure you've ruled out the latter. Has the water level changed?

I run my water level to the baffle and maintain return section with ATO. My level stays very constant. I'm at the recommended hieght of 8" which has not changed.

It's nice and dirty right now. I'll take a pic when I get home. God this has been a long night.

That is since Friday morning. So 5 days. Seems about right. My other would be half full. The K2 cup is much bigger.

WOW! That is some dark, opaque skimmate! And you say it's currently not working up to par, hm? I'd love to see the difference when it's pulling the specified amount of air.

    Gratuitous smut. That's funny! :)
