    Looks like an Acropora crab, good little guy to have. It will keep the Acropora healthy.

    I had to google Acropora. What do they eat?

    It is a dry heat, yeah right !
    Some trap food that floats by, some seem to gather particles off the acropora. I never directly target feed mine.

    They eat particulate matter that accumulates on your acros. I posted this photo and if you scroll down I posted an abstract from a study looking at coral survival with and without them.

    The coral is a dead piece I got from LFS. Is the crab going to be able to find something else to eat?

    I thought the coral looked a bit bleached, but I figured maybe it was the lighting LOL. Either move him to another coral or trade him for store credit. They can't survive long without a host coral.
