Last week I bought 3 corals from a local guy here (maybe 2" frags each, very small). My tank is NUKED now, not to say it's his fault by any means.

My coral beauty died in 3 days, looks like the scales just wilted up. He hid for two days, came out on the third which i immediately QT'd him..dead in 12 hours. Looked GREAT 3 days prior. My 2 ture perculas and hippo tang are fine amazingly enough.

My mushrooms are all withered up and about dead. The xenia, toadstool, torch(one of the 3), and colt are all shrunk up and look like they were burned chemically. My anemone's tentacles look fried up on the tips. The turbo snails "feet" look shrivled up big time. I mean it goes on and on and im SOOOOO FRUSTRATED i could almost cry..... SIGH There's also a green slime acropora in there too. As well as a couple types of pipe organ coral. None of the polyps have been out since saturday.

    What I've done lately.
He had me put some carbon in my system, i've never ran it before. Installed a new external pump (panworld replacing a rio 20hf). I did this and added the 3 corals (green slime acro, devils hand, torch) within a 48 hour period. One regular dose of lugol's this month, and 1/2 dose of vitamin C in the food. Starting Sunday morning/afternoon, my tank looks just ruined.

I just cannot believe this, all my water paramaters are in check. I don't know waht to do anymore. Please help. :(

    Wow!!!

Sorry to hear. What brand of Carbon did you use and how did you use it? Some of the cheaper carbons (but not even most of those) can cause a major pH swing.

Black diamond is the brand of carbon, I just checked my PH again. 8.4 PH, 1.5 hours after dark.

I may be wrong but doesn't that sound like stray voltage?
If not, could something have been dumped in your tank, a poison or something by accident from someone else? The carbon would not have done that, nor the corals themselves and even if one of the corals was dieing and releasing toxins the carbon would have cleaned it up to a degree. Check and make sure the new pump isn't leaking voltage into the system.
Anyway, I'm sorry to here that. I lost an entire reef due to a waterchange using tap water and there was a back-flushing by the city just prior to me drawing water and all the tank inhabitants were poisoned within a few minutes. I sat and watched everything die. Needless to say RO/DI since.
    Really sorry.

Can you makeup some new water in a different tank or tub and move everything in for now? Anything left that is?

I'm afraid i do not have a grounding probe in the water :*( When i stick my hadn in the water, i cannot feel any tingling or worse. Dunno if humans can feel the stray voltage that may be there?

Sorry to here your having so many problems. Have you measured your Iodine?

Iodine can become deadly only slightly above recommended levels

    It's somewhere between .08 and .1. I can't really tell exactly.

Iodine wouldn't do that to the fish or at the dose to kill them the inverts would have long been gone. No you can't feel stray voltage. You need to get some plastic containers and do new water and get your livestock moved-corals isolated from fish and rock, sand separate and one pump per container, then you can look into the causes.
You can use 5-10gl containers and keep them in a temperature controlled room.
