Im an old crusty reefer

Ok, so looking back ive been doing saltwater reef tanks for over 20 years! A lot has changed and a lot has stayed the same. So digging through old pics, i thought i would share my 60g SPS clam tank from back in 1994. Most people never even heard of SPS back then I was and still am into the odd corals, even had a chalice in the system back then (green with black rings) Enjoy guys!

That looks like it was a great tank, just beautiful.

The hobby has come so far in 20 years time. I still have my old Martin Moe Clownfish book from back in the day. I think we do a lot better job of keeping the corals and fish alive, now if we can just cut back significantly on harvesting from the wild.

nope all sold off a long time ago, couple that i sure wish i did!
