Hello again everyone! My hiatus from the hobby didn't last long! Ive graduated from college with my Associates last week, and with that i decided to officially begin parting together equipment to slowly bring my old 20 gallon back to its glory. I do not plan on getting this wet for some time, as i need to gradually ease back in the hobby after selling every piece of equipment i owned with my 75 gallon tank, however i will make a new thread for my tank when im ready to to begin. No more iphone pics either i picked up a used nikon for a photography class i took, and ive got some skills now 8) just not a decent macro lense :p. So here is where i stand currently:

I just placed an order for an over flow and return kit (1/2") from the fellas (and ladies perhaps) from glass-holes. I ordered a bubble magus nac 3.5 skimmer to be housed in a 10 gallon sump i will make myself when this package arrives. & last but not least a new sicce syncra 1.5 return pump.

I plan on investing in an mp10 power head for water movement, and the reef breeders 24" fixture to light the tank (or maybe some other fixture but make no mistake LEDs will be on this tank). from experience i know an ATO will be critical in water stability in this tank, so this is another reason why im going to have all my stuff ready before i dip my toes back in.

Livestock: i want a pair of clowns, skunk or some snowflakes perhaps, but i want a pair. I also want a goby and pistol shrimp. Corals are still not even in the question but i do love my zoas so i can see this being a zoa dominant tank, with perhaps a piece of sps and a bubble tip nem to bring it all together. but that all could change tomorrow...

That is all i have thus far as this is in its infantile stages of development but hopefully Ill have progress reports as they happen. Nice to be back, and i look forward to catching up with some of you guys and gals!

welcome back! I just joined recently so I don't remember you from before. We live in the same area though, and your pic is the background on my phone! lol. Did you go to FSU? Sounds like you and I are doing about the same thing, I bought a 55 my friend was taking down and am putting it together verryyyyy slowly. Trying to offset the costs a little bit!

Welcome back! I have thought about a hiatus for a separate reason... can't seem to get rid of some nuisance algae. But the bug is too strong so... I continue on. Go Noles!!!
