I'm finally using "smart" technology

No, I didn't get a smart phone. I'll never do that. However, sometimes I don't want to lug my laptop around. I wanted something in between a smart phone and my laptop so I bought a Nook Color.

It's pretty amazing. Internet, email, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, calendars, games, Internet Radio, my own songs that I already had, youtube videos, and any other app that works on Android phones. It doesn't have as much memory as an iPad but it's also 1/2 the cost. I can expand the memory very inexpensively if I need to. NOOK Color - The Reader's Tablet - Barnes & Noble

Actually, I was wrong. I have just as much memory as an iPad but I can expand it further. I don't have it side by side with an iPad right now but I'm pretty darn sure that this screen is clearer than the iPad. (Maybe I'm just happy about my new toy so I'm imagining this). LOL

I love my iPad and sometimes, my two year old even lets me play with it.

 

LOL....however, I don't don't need any more phones. (I don't need this either but I really like it).

 

So, have you downloaded Angry Birds yet?

I'm amazed that some of the most amazing apps are free.

 

And a lot of classic novels (e-books) are also free.
