ok ive looked up every marine infection i can find, and cant find anyhing to explain why my puffer appears to have white spot ich.......i have been dosing 'kick-ich' and am on day 11, no change in spots on fins......today he seems like he is very slightly clouded on his forehead and nowhere else, but that could be me stressing out and knit picking........anyway he doesnt exhibit any signs of a parasite or infection except his appearance........please help:confused:

Anyone else in the tank affected? What kind of diet does your puffer get?

absolutly nothing else in the tank has any sort of infection , i asked the guys at LFS last sunday what it was they said sounds like ich, but the puffer doesnt scratch on anything, swimming just fine no labored breathing, he seems perfectly healthy. kick ich hasnt made a dent in it sooo im wondering what it might be, as for diet the only thing my fish get is frozen or pellets, my puffer will only eat frozen krill so i dont think im introducing anything from food

I think he's referring to a cleaner wrasse. Not a recommended treatment IMO.

Try adding some kind of garlic supplement to the diet.

There are products out there now. You should be able to get something at your lfs. I have used the garlic extract stuff from the grocery store but, it's expensive.
