Im geting a hob

    I am now going to invest in a hob fuge. Can I keep my skimmer going once the fuge is established also can I use the return from the skimmer to fill the fuge?? Or will that do damage having already been through a system once.

    yes you can keep your skimmer going but you don't want to supply the HOB with the skimmer because you want the water that hasn't beem skimmed yet to go to the refuge.

    Once the fuge is established can i do without the skimmer

    Negative Ghost Rider ...the pattern is full!

    The skimmer and the Fuge are two seperate monsters.....the skimmer is one of the MOST important pieces of equipment on your system.....removes waste and helps to keep your chemistry in check...check out the Skimmers section of the forums...it will explain it better.
