Its been a bad week for this aquarium addict. I've ordered a clean up crew from reef cleaners, dual GFO Carbon reactor from bulk reef, digital aquatics reefkeeper lite 3, 5 chromis, and 2 cleaner shrimp for my 120g.

I'll be eating Ramen till my next paycheck, but hey at least the aquarium will be a happy place. lol

A few thoughts to help make you feel better

    1. You cannot take it with you. And if i cannot take it I aint going
    2. Why save money in the bank if you can spend it and it makes you happy.

We have all been there at some point but to make things easier I give myself a budget of $150 per month for everything. Food fish water ect. The months i do not use it all I acrue the money so over time I usually do OK.

On the bright side the noodles come in a variety of flavors.

Sounds like you're enjoying the hobby! :)

But, I hate to sound like a downer, I really hope everyone is responsible with this hobby, it's easy to get carried away and really get yourself in trouble with all the fancy new gadgets, flashy fish, and gorgeous corals out there. Take it slow, like the entire hobby, there will always be more opportunities for more (and BETTER) gadgets/fish/coral if you wait for it.

    Have fun! ;D

As long as you are happy with your tank, the $$ was well spent.

I am a fan of mac and cheese when I spend more than I should have on my tank.

I got burnt out on Ramen in college. The only way I can eat that stuff, or even not gag while smelling it is if it is in one of those ramen salads. Then its good:)

I second Peredhil! It's been my philosophy. I can't believe some people have only spent $5000...I feel wasteful now.
