Hey 3reef. Lurked here a long time but finally registered to get more info on the kitty litter fuge substrate.

Little info, 90g DT, 150w halides, converted wet/dry sump (changing this weekend) QO4000 return, SWC 160 cone, Current chiller, TLF150 with Rowaphos.

Livestock is, Maroon clown, Black Axl Chromis, Bi-Color Anthias, Yellow Tang, and Helfrichi Firefish.

Numerous Zoas, hairy shroom, 8" RBTA. All our SPS and leather was lost in the move :(

I have my 30g sump/fuge going in this weekend and have been pulling my hair out to what substrate to put in it, till I read on here about the kitty litter, and saw pics of PackLeaders fuge.

Thanks yall, I'll grab some pics to throw up soon.

Welcome to 3reef! Sorry to hear about the SPS and Leather :(

I would listen to rc and rinse the kitty litter very well before adding it to the tank ;)

Thanks for the heads up on the rinsing.

RC. My sister and nieces live in Valdosta, well.. Homerville. Used to live in Fargo. :)

Gotta run to the store and get 5 gallons o vinegar now to clean this sump/fuge heh.

Little tidbit about me. I hate cleaning equipment.
