Im loving the new bulbs I got today

    My LFS had 25% off everything today. (They claim they are going to remodel but I fear they are going to close!)

    However it has been 1 year this week that I have had upgraded my system, so it is time to replace the MH bulbs. I bought 14K 250 pheonix bulbs and I love the coloring of them! It is a very soft blue/white coloration and shimmers very cool.

    It is amazing the coolness of the light compared to the 10K coralife that I had. The old bulbs made the tank so STARK WHITE!

    congrats Schakmel

    images would be awesome, a before and after shot, would allow people considering lamp choices to see the difference you are describing

    I like 14K lamps (T5s) for similar reasons
