I'm new to the hobby, but my father has had this 60 gallon tank set up for about 7 years now.

    Here's the full tank:

We've moved a couple things around the tank. That leather down at the bottom center got moved, and we added some shrooms and zoas:

Anyways, I'm looking at building a tank soon, so we'll see how it turns out.

nice softie tank, I love seeing how these things grow in and make the entire tank look alive. if you do get around to setting up a tank of your own you'll have an endless supply of frags to play with.

Thanks guys. I got a new camera (Nikon coolpix s630) for Christmas, nothing "great" but still much better than what I had. I have been playing with it since then. For a point-and-shoot camera, it takes really nice quality photos.

I find that cameras capture aquascapes a little bluer and more washed out than we see with our eyes, so I always touch up my pictures. Of course I can't stop at a simple color adjustment. I use the dodge/burn tool to lighten/darken areas that need it. Not anything I would consider "intense" photoshopping. I'm inclined to say it is necessary to display my corals' true appearance. Those blue-spotted shrooms are the exception, they photograph really well every time. They always look better in pictures than real life for some reason.
