So I bought a small Platinum Clownfish 3 weeks ago.
And from last night on he's been swim up to the overflow box and gets sucked up to it and just sits there.. I come close to the tank he will swim away and pretend nothing happened.. then again goes to the exact same spot and gets sucked up to the overflow box like hes tired of swimming.. I dunno.. I know clowns can be retarded but I dunno.

    Thanks if you know anything.

If he/she can swim away easily at will,

sounds likle it's letting the Overflow 'Host' it.

And most would say it's 'hosting' the overflow, but I think it's being 'hosted'- as if it really matters; what's important is that it can swim away at will easily- the sign of an otherwise healthy fish.

I agree with Todd, clownfish can act so strange sometimes. After over a year of being in my tank with a BTA mine recently decided to choose a host, the female chose my duncans and the male some nearby mushrooms.
