    im not sure if it is or not..but i just spoted this after re arranging my rock for the last time.....im sorry i cant get better pics its inside a rock hole and everytime i get close it closes up...

    lol that is a 10lb rat terrior sittin on the back of my couch... she sat ther 2 hours watchin crabs like that so of course it was camera time.... now then back to the creature.. i gota peek in teh little hole... i seen 2 hair like tenticles could b hairs white n black...

    I can't tell for positive from the pic, but it should be an Ark Clam, in the family Arcidae. They will withdraw and snug up into the rock when a shadow passes over them, or when your hand gets too close. There are several similar species from different areas, most in the genus Arca if you want to google for pics.
