Has anyone ever had a reef tank and tried immitating moon cycles?
I am curious if it has any benifits with corals.... I was doing alittle reading and I heard that certin wild reefs spawn at certin times when there is a full moon, would be interesting to mimic something like that just to see if it could happen in a tank.

You don't want corals to spawn in your tank, trust me :) I use a moonlight in one of my tanks but I haven't seen any benefits to it. It just looks cool :)

You can try The Lebos Aquarium Products Page

I got their lunar tracker for my 55 gal tank and its pretty cool. I don't know if it helps spawning for corals...but i do see a lot more shrimp larvae. Pretty cool gadget though.
