Ive had my tank for 4 years. I have good base Carribbean rock, a few peices of Fiji and some odds and ends type of rock. About 55lbs (in a 36g bf). I want more continuity in my aquascaping. I was just given 4 nice peices of fossilized coral (real, and used decoratively in the home).

If I add this to my tank, will I get a small cycle? The new fossilized coral is about 5lbs total .....I would take the same amount out before adding.

No, rinse it off before adding. But it wont cause any die off or cycle.

Just keep an eye on it, it may turn a bit green in the short term, a good CUC will keep that minimized.
