So this hobby is going to be the death of my bank account. lol As alot of you know I manage a Petco hear in Cali, and I do all the ordering for my aquatics department. So I wanted a bigger variety of clowns at my store so I ordered 3 Black Percula Clowns, 3 Misbar Clowns, and 3 saddleback clowns. Along with a long list of other fish. After I aclimated the clowns to our tanks I was able to take a closer look. The black percula's are more a dark orange than black, but they have black fins and are misbars. Well after watching them for awhile I decided I wanted a pair of the black percula. All three of them looked to be very friendly and I figured I had a good chance of getting a good pair of mates. So I picked two out and they are doing great in my tank. I paid $60 for both of them and they havent moved more than 3"s from each other. They are defenetly going to be mates. Well hear they are.

So I got off work at 5pm and I am just like crap, it's rush hour and the freeway is probably a parking lot. So I decided to take side streets home.Well there just so happens to be a LFS on my home. So I figure i will stop in and see what they have. I notice this nice long tentical coral. Figure that it may be nice to have my clowns host something. So I bought it for them. Cost me $35. Well hear it is.

So I leave that LFS and start heading home again. When I remember that there is another LFS on the way home. I stop in thinking I might get a small bubble coral for them as well. I didn't really see any bubbles that I liked, but a nice frogspawn caught my eye. lol So I bought it for $60 then while they baged it up a red carnation caught my eye. I had never seen one before and didn't really know anything about it. The guy at the shop said they don't need alot of light, and they like alot of flow. He said it was $35 so I said I would take it. I Finaly get home and start get everything in the tank. looks good, but the carnation isn't looking so hot. So I look them up online and find out that they are very difficult to keep and don't really last. So I moved it to my refuge and decided I would take it back after I got off work today. Hear is the frogspawn, sorry I never took a pic of the carnation.

Well today I got the rest of my fish order in at work. In the order was an amazing Tiger Goby. It is big and best of all I got it for $15 hahaha I went home put the tiger in my tank, then baged up th carnation and took it back to my LFS. I got store credit, so I decided to get some more coral. Hear it is. The coral cost me $60 total

shame - I hoped I was wrong - they are pretty, but the propogate quickly and can sting things around them - you might find the Zoas within touching distance will curl up a little in responce to the sting

treatments - Joes juice I can say it does work as I have used that one
aptasia X is also supposed to work (never tried so cant say for certain)
lemon juice, Vinegar, boiling water - have also all been tried and reported as succesful by others

Well I just tried the boiling water trick. Hope it works. I found like 5 of them, and they didnt seem to like being stabbed with a syringe and then sprayed with boiling water. haha if that doesnt work, I will pick up some Joe's tomarro
