    well i have like 50+ of these that come out at night, and go all over my glass, so i was just wondering what they are, if there good or bad?
    and what'll get rid of these. :confused:

    Looks like a stomatella to me, at least the one on the glass. Do they look like slugs with a half shell on the back? Stomatellas are a very good thing for your tank. A great free clean up crew.

    nope, because the thing i have in my tank is like a snail without its shell, it has the sucker thing, and a lil mouth

    The half shell is just a flat oval on their backs, not actually a snail shell. It blends in really well with the rest of the body. Look up Stomatella on google.

    Yep, it's a Stomatella. You can see the flattened shell on its back in the pic, although it's only about half as big as the animal (or less). They are in the same family with the Trochus snails and Margaritas, and are good algae eaters. If you have more than you want, I'm sure there are lots of people on here who'd like to have some.
