in sump octo skimmer and how to setup?

i just got the nw-150 skimmer and wanted to find out how to get it going? its in a 20 high but the skimmer isnt really doing much besides fizzing

Usually the higher the pump is up on the water column the better it will work. I have the nw-200 moded and it produces alot of skimmate.

 

how do u mod it? where did you get ur skimmer? cuz i am looking into buying one right now. plz let me know

 

Do a search in google on modding octopus nw skimmers and youll get a bunch of results I got it about a year ago so dont know if it might have changed, quality wise.

 

So what did u do to fix the problem. I have the nw200 and can't get a thing out of it, its been 2 weeks now and no skimmate!!!!
