    I might give it a try. there are so many choices out there and reviews vary on all skimmers.

    I have read a number of good things about octopus as well. Has anyone tried or know about the skimmers I posted links to?

    Ok, I have googled the poop out of octopus in sump skimmers. I have read nothing but good things about them. I think I will purchase the Reef Octopus Super Reef 1000 when it comes out. If it doesn't completely fit I will move my pump from out of the sump.
