    Just got myself a shiny new brain. its all closed up how long do i hafto wait to see it in all its glory? would love to hear any tips and tricks to keeping these thing if ya got em. Thanks.

    As to how long you have to wait, it really depends. All of my corals have opened up within a few hours. However, it could take a few days or a week for it to fully open depending on how different your parameters and lighting are from where you got it. Don't worry too much, just allow it to do its thing

    yeah. do they grow fast or slow. i have it on the substrate for now but im thinkin ab puting it in the rocks. any suggestions?

    different kinds of brain have different requirements.what do you have?

    generally slow, I've had mine for about 4-5 months and it has grown some more polyps, but the edges are growing very slowly

    havent gotten a chance to post a pic yet I will asap. The type ofbrain that I have is a Trachyphyllia its geen with red stripes. unopened its one of the best looking ones i have found and this is after about a month of seaching.
