So I have moved the QT tank with tang, 2 clowns, 2 damsels, a sucker, and 2 other blue fish in a 27g with a small powerhead (left the clear tube out of the water?) a small heater, and an air pump....The tang is stressed and turning a lil brown.

The anemone is in a 5g bucket submerged in water...how long will it be okay like that? With no circulation?

    And the DIRTY TANK?

How thorough do I need to clean...one of my filter...the big wave maker or the powerhead? circulates into itself and I cant reach even a clothes hanger in there to clean it out. There are tons of little wormies and poop particles and stuff, my hands are burning from touching the old substrate I am replacing!

i would just rinse them out, with saltwater if there biological filter pieces, for powerheads you can clean with a mixture of vinegar and water over night.

your substrate i would definitely stir it around in a bucket of saltwater to clean it out. and pour off the dirty water.(thats if your moving the sand to a new tank, if its staying in the same tank i wouldnt disturb it if you dont have the available saltwater.)
