thanks saints fan. I'll see if they have the HO and exchange. I'm not going to do coral for a while but it's good to know now. Now just looking at skimmers so i can get rid of the HOB Biowheel (no biowheel in it, just a filter pad) I have.
I'm really in no hurry because it's fun watching the rock change as it goes through the cycle. ;) Just need to get everything right before I put any little creatures in there.

Lights returned for the HO version, told them wife bought it as a gift and got the wrong thing, they gave me an even trade as they were upset nobody asked my wife what she was buying for so they could point her to the corrcet ones. ;D

Also I got a 10 gal I'm going to set up as a refugium and I'm looking at the HOB skimmers. No way to break that 10 into 3 sections big enough to hold anything.

Question is, once I get the HOB skimmer how much flow do they add back to the tank? I have the Marineland 200 filter on now with a powerhead and it seems like good flow in the tank. I want to remove that filter when the skimmer comes but if they don't produce much flow back to the tank I may as well get another powerhead just in case.

    Update - Sign of Life?

So all seems to be going well and I'm about 3.5 weeks into the cycle. Ammonia and Nitrites are coming way down, about .15 and Nitrates are going down too. Spec grav is at 1.025 and all seems good. I did notice these started growing on my rocks. Good Sign? going to tst again tomorrow.
