    Consider supporting your plumbing with some straps off the stand. It's hard on bulkheads to let them support the weight of the pipes+water such as you are.

    Besides that, nice start!

    Not a whole lot actually. It's pretty good. Only viewing it from the very far left. Which is a very uncomfortable place to view the tank from.

    Just an update. Four days ago I painted some new fittings. They're completely cured now and I've placed them in the tank.

    The drain completely blends into the background now. Looks much better

    No more distractions of white fittings showing in the tank. Plenty of flow in there too so I don't have to start cluttering things into the tank.

    cant tell if there is one from the pics but you may want to put some type of strainer over that drain to keep snails out. Great start though, what paint did you use to paint your drain and return? I need to do that to mine. looks great!

    Yeah I do have a cone strainer just for that. I'm not putting it on just yet. I used Krylon Fusion that I had kicking around the garage. I've used this stuff before for my other tanks.
