my biocube 29 is 4 1/2 months old and i have had my light cycle decreased to six hours of daylight bulbs. I had a pretty intense green hair algae bloom and had turned down the light cycle to battle the algae. I have added quite a few corals and want to slowly increase the light cycle to around 8 hours of daylight per day. How slowly should i increase the light and how much, in what increments?

I have a 24 gal Nanocube with the lights on for 6 hrs a day and all is well and growing fine. I would say you have enough light, but if you are looking for longer viewing time I would say add 30min a week.

yeah i kinda would like a bit longer light cycle. cool so 30 minutes a week should be a good pace.
