Ehh....i wouldn't put a cowfish in a reef personally just because i think it would look awkward..

But here is some more things about it.they get big, soo what size tank do you have?
they will produce heavy amounts of waste.(just like a cow!) so thats means you need a VERY good skimmer and water changes also.
Some are known to eat coral..but some are exeptions to keeping in a reef.

But some people have had success with them...I like to consider most fish 50/50 chance on eating for and what not...

thats my only real concern is eating my corals...ive had no problems with my skimmer, and i do 10-15 gal water changes everyweek(75 gal tank) i just saw that at least a 125 is what is recommended for one..so i guess its a moot point now...thanks though...on to something else

My biggest concern would be catching him if he does cause a problem. They are slow but can release toxins if stressed. Oh, and tank size is definitely an important factor as well.

Fuzzy dwarf lion? They definitely are something that's exotic and cool looking and don't get as big. That's as long as you have a 30+ gallon tank and nothing small enough for him to eat. And of course you'd want to wear gloves when working on the tank then.
