    does anyone know any tricks or where i could find some info on this subject?(short of razor blading it in half,i could never do that!) i have had a ritteri over a year now, it was fist size when i got it and approx. 16 inches across now, i would love to make this a species tank with 2 or even 3 of them in there

    Fragging would be about the only way. Splitting is actually a survival instinct in anemones brought on by stress (ie a splitting anemone is not a totally happy one) ;)

    Why is this awful? This is how 99% of the anemones are raised. It's no different than fragging a coral.

    Wow that was intense. Obviously the man says, "No, I don't need gloves" lol. So after it's fragged does it need to go to a seperate tank or just back into the DT?

    do you cut the mouth and foot in half? or is just a piece with a few tentacles enough?
