    I had a battle with one LFS not too long ago trying to charge me $40 for a SMALL snail with porites on it's shell. They said, "Porites are rare so it's going to be expensive...." Should have known from a place that sells plain pistol shrimp for $22!!

    That's true with some treatments for ich/ick. About your quarantine area, how does yours work, as it is made of eggcrate? Shouldn't it be made of glass or acrylic so there are solid walls? I thought ich was transmitted/passed through the water. Though eggcrate would probably be ok as confinement to prevent aggression of fish when adding new fish..
