Click the link I posted in my last post. They sell them for like $15.99 pc. I am not sure where my guy is getting them from but even he isnt sure if he can score any. I know they arent gonna be cheap but Im not paying. This tank is in an assisted living facility and it just comes out of my budget.

I'm sure your trigger will eat the nudis too. I would suggest kalk doughballs. I used them on all of my majenos and aiptasia. I got 3 peppermints in a 72g and they won't touch the pests. Get some kalkwasser, take a teaspoon of water and mix it with a little powder and roll it into a a doughball. Place in majeno mouth and aiptasia mouths. Works everytime. Might need a syringe to get the little guys.

berghia nudibranch... Never heard of them? Just did some research and i will have to use them if I ever run into this problem again. Do they have any side affects to other Anemone like a BTA?

No. In fact, a lot of people don't want to use these animals because once they run out of aiptasia to eat, they will starve to death. Some people are willing to "loan" the animal out to fellow aquarists once their aiptasia is gone just to avoid having the animal die from lack of food :)

I had a complete tank load of aiptasia and used aiptasia x on them and completely removed them all within a couple days. Aiptasia X works because it seals there mouth shut which makes it impossible for them to release the spores that create new ones. It's $10 well spent and will be 1/5 the price of the nudibranchs.

Just clear up a few things on berghia... Triggers are not likely to eat berghia unless the berghia are accidentally dropped into the water column upon introduction. Berghia are mostly nocturnal and typically stay in the crevices and undersides of rocks where they are protected. But triggers are likely to eat peppermint shrimp.

Berghia eat only aiptasia and not one other thing.

It is true that berghia will starve if they eat all of the aiptasia available. A reputable berghia seller will advise you on how many berghia to get so they live out most of their life while eradicating the tank of aiptasia (assuming this is important to the hobbyest). A 1/2" berghia typically has a max. of about 6-8 months of life remaining. They are not long lived creatures.

Wow I'll have to remember about them If I ever run into this problem again.

Also.. Gutierrezre. Is you pic from the Pittsburgh Zoo and PPG aquarium? It says you’re from Michigan but that Pic looks like its from an exhibit that we have here in Pittsburgh!
